The role of the Group Office Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Group office environment. The primary purpose of the Group Office Manager role is to oversee administrative functions and support the overall functioning of BME Group.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, lunch, equipment, invoices.
  • Responsible for operational on- and off-boarding of employees.
  • Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary.
  • Organise office operations and procedures.
  • Being the single point of contact with the building manager.
  • (Assist with) planning and executing team events.
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment.
  • Book travel arrangements.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Ensure office efficiency is maintained by carrying out planning and execution of equipment procurement, layouts and office systems together with Group Procurement.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office.

Education and Experience

  • Several years experience in a similar role (Office/Ops Management)
