The HR Manager BME Spain is a Business Partner for the Spanish branch. A transformational leader with great communication skills that will lead the company to a next level. In this strategic and hands-on role you will report locally and cooperate with the head quarter based in the Netherlands.

PURPOSE:
- As an HR Manager you own the employee experience by coaching leaders and managers on all processes of the Employee Life cycle: to attract, grow & develop talent, drive performance and reward the talent pool required to execute the business strategy, improve the business and achieve the financial goals in line with the business and HR strategy
- Drive employee engagement improvement initiatives through providing employee development programs, team building opportunities, reward and recognition initiatives, talent management strategies and transparent communication channels
- Lead the HR related integration activities of the current businesses to maximise synergies, efficiency, and productivity
- Be a change leader able to inspire the organisation to adopt the necessary changes
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Well-rounded and experienced HR leader with sound business acumen
- Data and people driven advisor and decision maker
- Humble, down-to-earth with a strong bias for teamwork and building solid team relationships
- Potential to grow in the organization (minimum one level up)
- Strong change management and transformation leadership skills with a pragmatic and hands-on mentality
- Proven experience with Organisation Design & productivity improvement initiatives
- Willing to roll up their sleeves, as the role combines hands-on execution of operational HR tasks with a more strategic focus on developing the organisation into a professional, structured and streamlined organization
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Member of the BME Spain Management Team (MT)
- Represent the HR Function and drive the people and talent agenda
- Act as a Business Partner to and support the BME Spain MT in all operational HR matters (more than 500 employees, 45 work centers and 3 business: distribution, installation and industry)
- Lead the HR function/resources, accountable for and providing leadership & guidance on all HR & Talent Management practices:
- Acquisition & On-boarding
- Performance Management, Talent Management, Development & Succession Planning (at functional & leadership level), apprentice program
- Promote effective ways of goal setting, motivation, communication, and empowerment
- Employee Engagement & KPI driven decision making
- Organisational Design & Development: driving and executing organisational, talent and cultural transformations associated with building a high-performance culture
- Change Management and Transformation
- Total Reward Cycle (new incentive philosophy)
- Close cooperation with the respective Group functional leads and with other HR functions in Europe
- Drive employment branding & represent externally to attract future potential talent
- Ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
- Internal communications department Marketing
- Negotiations with the works council
SKILLS:
- Energetic & results driven candidate with international corporate experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and business partnering capabilities, able to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and apply good culture sensitivity

EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in Employment Law (Spain or International), HR Management or (Business) Psychology
- 5 – 7 plus years’ experience as HR Manager with a proven track record in change management and transformation
- A stable career track with clear career progression within a limited number of employers
- Experience with working in an international and matrix environment
- Eager and ambitious with the ability to go at least one level up
- Preferably experience in Total Rewards
- Profound experience in Learning & Development and Talent Management
- Fluent in Spanish and English is a must
- Willing to work internationally (e.g. cooperate with group HR, international projects, etc.)
