BME has a fast-growing Digital team looking to implement modern technology solutions to help the business scale in a fast-changing environment. There are a range of projects in flights. These include implementing a Master Data Management system to centralize product data for the company, building and scaling a cutting-edge Ecommerce platform, and setting up advanced Data Storage and Analytics capabilities, as well as many others.

 

Your role

Do you want to develop as a product owner, business analyst or project manager? Depending on your skill set and preferences, you will focus on one of the many projects in Digital. In general, you will develop and use business analysis and project coordination skills. You would be working directly with one of the Group Managers driving one of the projects. You will support them clarifying and documenting requirements, engaging with stakeholders and supporting delivery teams. You don’t need to have a strong technical background, but can communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Your daily tasks

  • Attend meetings and workshops, helping facilitate and noting requirements and actions
  • Document processes, business decisions and requirements
  • Help support Group Manager to meet with stakeholders and understand their needs
  • Participate in team rituals like standups, refinement sessions and retrospectives
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the manager and the team
  • Depending on the project – support in more technical ways like designing wireframes, testing scenarios or performing data analysis

 

What you know

  • Study or experience including business analysis or project basics like requirements gathering and documentation
  • Knowledgeable in using the Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Fluent in English. German / Dutch is a bonus.
  • Optional – Experience using the Atlassian suite – JIRA & Confluence
  • Optional – user design tools and skills to design user-friendly interfaces and wireframes
  • Optional – knowledge of master data or product data and the systems to manage this
  • Optional – experience in data analysis and data querying with SQL
