La Especialista is further driving its leading scale in Spain

In January, BME’s Spanish subsidiary La Especialista has opened a new store Alcorcón, a suburb of Madrid. With the opening of La Especialista Madrid Sur, the company expands its national footprint. The new warehouse marks La Especialista’s 11th store in Spain and its leading position as specialized construction materials distributor.

La Especialista is a specialized construction material provider specialized in building materials for insulation, laminated plasterboard systems, false ceilings and fire protection. The newly opened site in Alcorcón is the latest addition to La Especialista’s regional locations across Spain. At its launch in February 2021, La Especialista started operating from six warehouses in Bilbao, Vitoria, Santander, Gijón, Elche and Manresa. Over the course of the last two years, La Especialista has opened five new stores in the country in San Sebastian, Zaragoza, Girona and Barcelona. Another store is planned to open in Sevilla in May and in Malaga in June of this year.
