BME welcomes Jan-Willem Dockheer as Managing Director for BMN Netherlands

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jan-Willem Dockheer as Managing Director BMN Groep Netherlands. Jan-Willem will succeed Jan Boon, who is planned to leave due to health reasons.

We would like to thank Jan for his outstanding work at BMN Netherlands. Since joining BMN in July 2014, he has led a significant transformation. Jan was instrumental in turning BMN around from a loss-making and complex business with over 20 separate brands into a unified, robustly profitable and much larger business with a strong focus on customers and employees.

We are confident that we have found a strong successor for Jan in the person of Jan-Willem Dockheer. Jan-Willem brings leadership experience from various industries and regions. His strength lies in leading substantial transformations, fostering team growth, and amplifying customer-centric strategies. In his previous role as the Managing Director for Ahold Delhaize in Serbia, he was responsible for building the business by driving expansion through the acceleration of new stores openings and through omni-channel sales. Jan-Willem’s prior roles also include positions as CEO at Fit for Free and different senior leadership roles at Ahold Delhaize and Philips.
