BME Group acquires Dycten, a leading drylining specialist merchant in the Canary Islands

On 2 January 2024, BME Group (BME) and the shareholders of Dycten have reached an agreement on the sale of Dycten. With five branches located across four different islands, Dycten is one of the leading drylining specialist merchants in the Canary Islands.
Dycten offers a wide range of building materials with a focus on drylining, ceiling solutions, and insulation materials. Dycten started its operations more than 35 years ago to become one of the leading drylining specialists in the Canary Islands. The company employs close to 30 employees across its five branches and with its head office located in Tenerife. The company will be integrated into BME Spain’s La Especialista network, which will grow to 19 dedicated branches across Spain. Dycten’s current management, Javier González-Machado Marin and Ana González-Machado Marin, will support the integration of Dycten into the distribution network of La Especialista of BME Spain.

The acquisition of Dycten is the 5th acquisition in Spain since BME became an independent company in 2019, and the 31st acquisition across the Group.
