BME Group acquires Espace Matériaux, expanding its Infrastructure network in Normandy

BME Group (BME) and the shareholders of Espace Matériaux have reached an agreement to acquire Espace Matériaux, a specialized infrastructure merchant based in Caen. This acquisition strengthens BME’s presence in Normandy, complementing the recent opening of its Rouen branch under the Busca brand.

Espace Matériaux is a family-owned business and has built a strong reputation in the infrastructure sector, specializing in water adduction products, making it a natural addition to the Busca portfolio.

BME France, based in Paris, has a network of 50 branches and 3 showrooms in Ile-de-France, operating under the brands Raboni and Busca. Both brands have been established names for over 70 years and are active respectively in general building materials and infrastructure products. BME France currently employs 500 people and is part of the BME Group.

The acquisition of Espace Matériaux is BME’s 8th acquisition in France since becoming an independent company in 2019, and the 35th acquisition across the Group.
