BME Group publishes 2025 Sustainability Report: advancing change through partnership

News release 26 March 2026

BME Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, reflecting our continued commitment to shaping a construction sector that is resilient, responsible, and sustainable.

In a year marked by tough market conditions, rising climate pressures, new regulations, and shifting customer needs, our teams across Europe remained focused on advancing our sustainability agenda.

In 2025, we made progress by:

  • Launching our Responsible Building Solutions framework to help customers build smarter and greener.
  • Growing our network of suppliers who share our values, improving transparency and reducing impact in the value chain.
  • Cutting our operational footprint through renewable energy, more electric vehicles, lower logistics emissions, and better packaging solutions.
  • Investing in our health & safety culture to protect our greatest asset: our people.

“Despite the pressures of 2025, we stayed the course, working closely with customers, suppliers, and partners across the value chain to advance our sustainability agenda. Collaboration is key to driving the systemic changes our sector needs and to creating lasting value for our industry, our customers, and the communities we serve. I am proud of the progress we have made and confident that we will continue to make a positive impact going forward.” – Remco Teulings, Group CEO.

This year’s report is our first to be published in line with CSRD standards, marking an important step in strengthening transparency and accountability across our sector. The adoption of CSRD reporting enables stakeholders to gain a clearer view of our impact and performance, fostering a shared purpose in accelerating sustainable practices industry-wide.

Looking ahead, BME Group will continue to work in partnership with customers, suppliers, and industry peers to embed sustainability deeper into the way we operate. This means driving innovation in products and services, improving efficiency across the value chain, and investing in the cultural change needed for long-term impact.

We extend our thanks to our customers, suppliers, and our 12,000 employees across Europe for their commitment, hard work, and shared ambition to make sustainable building a reality.

Together We Build.
