BME welcomes Franck Baduel as new member of the Supervisory Board
News release 24 September 2026
As BME continues to evolve and build for the future, its Supervisory Board is entering a new chapter, with a change in composition that brings both continuity and new perspectives.
After five years as a member of BME’s Supervisory Board, Marianne Culver will step down from her role. On behalf of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Management Team, BME would like to thank Marianne for her outstanding contribution.
During her tenure, Marianne brought an important independent perspective to a Board otherwise largely representing BME’s shareholders, helping to ensure balanced discussions and thoughtful challenge. Her extensive experience in a broad range of topics, including strategy, distribution, product management and supply chain across a range of industries were greatly appreciated.
As Chair of BME’s Remuneration Committee, Marianne also made a particularly strong contribution to discussions on talent, succession, diversity and inclusion. Her commitment, professionalism and thoughtful approach have been greatly appreciated by both the Board and management.
BME is pleased to welcome Franck Baduel as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Franck brings extensive executive leadership experience, combined with strong operational and financial expertise. He is currently CEO of Alliance Automotive Group, a nearly €4bn revenues pan-European distributor of automotive spare parts. Franck’s background will be a valuable addition to the Supervisory Board as BME continues to execute its strategy and pursue its long-term growth ambitions.
Jean-Jacques Lafont, Chairman of BME’s Supervisory Board, said: “We are deeply grateful to Marianne for her dedication, insight and support over the past five years, and we wish her every success in the future. At the same time, we warmly welcome Franck to the Supervisory Board and look forward to working with him as BME enters its next chapter.”
