About
BME entered the German market of sanitary, heating and plumbing in 2008 with the acquisition of Paulsen in northern Germany. This was followed by the acquisition of Bergmann & Franz in 2018 expanding into Eastern Germany (Berlin). Since the end of 2019, several acquisitions followed to strengthen the position in the North-Western part of Germany (Detering) as well as in the East of Germany (Rollwitzer). To strengthen its position in tiles, Heinrichs Fliesenmarkt was acquired.
SHK is the trusted partner of architects, product developers and sanitary, heating and tiles installers and services them and their customers through their dense network of collect branches and showrooms. By centralizing its logistics services in strategically positioned distribution centres, with state-of-the-art technology, SHK has the ambition to achieve best-in-class supply chain performance.
SHK is committed to sustainability and has equipped several of their showrooms with an EnergiesparWelten where they advise customers on the possibilities of energy-saving heating and ventilation systems as well as connecting them to professional installers.
