About
BME entered the French market of building materials in 1998 with the acquisition of Raboni and they entered the infrastructure market in 2001 with the acquisition of Busca. Since the end of 2019, BME France stepped up the acquisitions to strengthen its network in Île-de-France and in the infrastructure market (Amiens, Silix, Mager, UMHS, BVP Socca and Home Carrelage). In 2020, BME France divested its Normandy branches to re-focus on high growth segments around large cities and more urban areas. The inorganic growth activities in Île-de-France resulted into a number 2 market position of Raboni and a number 1 market position for Busca.
BME France is the umbrella brand for the specialist or regional brands Raboni, Busca, Silix and Socca TP, who are the trusted partners of architects, product developers, infrastructure professionals, contractors and professional specialists and services them and their customers through their dense network of collect branches and showrooms for building materials, civil products and tiles.
